Supporting Social Impact Organisations and Individuals through Research, Evaluation, and Data-Driven Learning
I help mission-driven organisations generate evidence, strengthen learning, and make confident decisions through research, evaluation, and data-driven insights.
With over seven years of experience across social impact, education, gender, youth development, livelihoods, and community-focused initiatives, I work with organisations to understand what works, why it works, and how it can create greater impact.
I hold a Master's degree in East Asian Studies from the University of Delhi and a professional certification in Business Analytics from IIM Indore. Based in Dehradun, India, I work with organisations across geographies through both remote and in-person engagements.
Research, Evaluation & Learning
Every organisation is collecting data. The challenge is knowing what it means and what to do with it.
I help organisations turn information into evidence, evidence into learning, and learning into action. Through research, evaluation, and analytics, I support teams in understanding what works, why it works, and how their efforts can create greater impact.
Over the past seven years, I have worked with nonprofits, foundations, social enterprises, and development organisations across India to strengthen programmes, improve decision-making, and generate meaningful evidence for change.
My work spans programme evaluations, impact assessments, mixed-methods research, strategic learning, MEL system strengthening, and data analytics. I enjoy working at the intersection of people, programmes, and evidence - bringing together qualitative insights and quantitative data to help organisations make informed decisions.
Over the years, I have contributed to research, evaluation, and learning assignments for organisations including...
My experience covers the full research and evaluation cycle—from study design and tool development to data collection, analysis, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and learning dissemination. Alongside research and evaluation, I work with organisations to improve data systems, develop dashboards, synthesise evidence, and create practical learning processes that support adaptive decision-making.

Thematic Focus
What is changing?
Why is it changing?
What can we learn from it?
How can that learning inform better decisions?
Approach
Meaningful insights rarely come from data alone. Every project is different, but my approach remains consistent: start with the right questions, understand the context, build credible evidence, and translate insights into action.
Every meaningful project begins with a question. I start by understanding what matters most, challenging assumptions, and defining the questions that need answering.
Before jumping into data, I take time to understand the context, the people involved, and the factors shaping the issue.
Ask the right questions, explore the context, build credible evidence, and translate what we learn into practical action.
I bring together qualitative insights, quantitative data, and diverse perspectives to build a clear and credible understanding.
The goal is not simply to generate findings, but to support better decisions that strengthen programmes, strategy, and impact.
Principles
While every project is different, a few core principles remain constant in how I approach my work. They shape how I listen, learn, collaborate, and make sense of evidence.
Good evidence starts with good questions and a willingness to sit with assumptions, perspectives, and complexity.
Core Principle
People share most openly when they feel respected, safe, and heard. Meaningful learning depends on care, informed consent, confidentiality, and respect for participant agency.
Good evidence is not extracted—it is built through trust, reflection, and mutual respect.
Data becomes meaningful when it is understood alongside people, systems, relationships, and local realities.
The people closest to an issue are central to understanding it. Their experiences give meaning to the patterns data reveals.
Strong learning processes create opportunities for participation across different levels, perspectives, and lived experiences.

Every organisation, community, and initiative is different. While this website offers a glimpse into my experience and approach, it cannot capture every challenge, question, or possibility.
If you're exploring an idea, grappling with a complex problem, designing a new initiative, looking for an evaluation partner, or simply trying to make sense of the information you already have, I'd be happy to connect.
Sometimes the most valuable insights emerge not from having all the answers, but from starting the right conversation.
